WBRA made several attempts to seek clarification on why Wasaga Beach has not declared a State of Emergency as have our neighbouring tourist towns and the County of Simcoe. Doing so would allow the Town to deal immediately with COVID-19 related matters and aid in requesting Provincial funding for these initiatives.
The Mayor's response to this and additional questions follows. The CEO did not respond to the taxpayer's request also included below.
