Again, the Town Clerk is asked why a taxpayer's letter was not read out during a Special Committee Meeting as requested . Previously, the Clerk clearly stated letters could be read out and did so at a council meeting. The Mayor chose not to. Now the Clerk is stating letters will only be shared with Council and no sharing of them with the public .Taxpayers deserve to be able to state their concerns and know that other interested taxpayers will hear them. Perhaps many taxpayers have the same concerns.The Town is gagging our collective voice!

PLEASE NOTE: As Town Hall is Closed to the Public, please send any written
submissions pertaining to By-laws and Staff Reports to
clerk@wasagabeach.com by 8:00 a.m. the day of the meeting. These will be
circulated to members of Council for their information prior to the meeting.
Once Council’s regular routine is re-established, participation during comment period at
regular council meetings will resume.
